The Initial Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the funeral bells for the green team. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a platform few have heard of. Xbox fan sites began covering regarding Sony's platform as a new development. Last year proved to be a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. But if we're going solely off the titles headed to the service in 2026, it's evident that Microsoft remains determined to draw people in with strong games on its premier subscription.

The Available Now Titles

The two games currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.

Upcoming Headline Games

Starting January 13th, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that deviates from the standard Ubisoft formula with an intergalactic heist adventure. Another big get is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, hailed in past assessments as "an ideal blend of frights and fights."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

But even the smaller games set to join the catalog are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that justify the service alone. Yet, this selection are very dependable. The lineup provides a solid mix of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that didn't get the attention they deserved the first time around — rendering them ideal prospects to get a second chance on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
